Benchmark E Zero-Emissions Electric Boiler Aids in Building Electrification and Decarbonization Goals
AERCO, a Watts Brand, introduces Benchmark® E, a powerful zero-emissions commercial electric boiler that delivers the superior reliability and energy savings of the original, compact gas-fired Benchmark boiler, in addition to new technology such as Peak Load Management and Hybrid Plant capability. Available in five sizes ranging from 216 kW and 684 kW (equivalent to ~750-2500 MBH).

Innovative Features to Maximize Electric Boiler Benefits
Benchmark E’s advanced Edge® Controller and innovative technology includes Peak Load Management which enables users to easily lower building peak loads and operational costs by maximizing charging time during hours with lower electricity rates.
The electric boiler comes standard with AERCO’s Boiler Sequencing Technology (BST) to enable the load to be shared between up to 16 units to maximize system energy efficiency. It provides facility engineers with the ability to manage a Hybrid Plant by integrating gas-fired Benchmark boilers for a highly effective, cost-focused approach to meet decarbonization requirements while benefiting from greater operational flexibility. Benchmark E is designed to pair seamlessly with AERCO’s SmartPlate® EV indirect water heater for a fully electric heating and hot water plant solution with low installation and maintenance costs that further boosts system efficiencies and simplifies management.
