| AERCO’s Factory Training Overview
General
Thank you for inquiring about AERCO’s recently expanded factory training programs. We currently offer the following courses:
• Direct Fired Start-Up & Service (SST) Certification
• SST Recertication & Refresher
• Modulex Certification
• End-User/Owner Training
Individual class dates, registration materials and pricing for each course is available from the links shown above. Please be sure to review the descriptions carefully. Not all courses are geared toward all personnel (i.e. service technicians vs. end-users). Please note: AERCO also offers Field Training courses on a limited basis. Please contact your local AERCO sales rep or Rich Russo, AERCO Training Manager, for more information.
Please review following information very carefully. We have made important changes to our policies and procedures related to re-certification requirements, registration procedures, etc.
Why Take Advantage of Factory Training?
Due to the differences between AERCO equipment and other equipment in the industry, start-up of AERCO gas-fired equipment must only be performed by factory certified SST attendees to validate the warranty. In addition, being trained and knowledgeable about AERCO products reduces service time and ensures peak equipment performance to deliver greater savings to equipment owners.
How to Register
Please contact Regine at 800-526-0288 ext. 271 for course availability. Then fax the completed registration form to your local AERCO sales representative who can officially reserve a spot for you in the class. Once your registration form has been signed and submitted to AERCO by your local sales rep, Lisa will call you to confirm your travel itinerary, hotel requirements and to coordinate the payment of course fees directly with the designated contact from your company. Mail the registration form payment to: AERCO International, 159 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647. Please note: full payment must be received prior to the start of the course.
Costs, Inclusions & Cancellations
Please refer to individiual course descriptions for specific costs and inclusions associated with each class. In case of cancellation, there are no refunds available, however, credit can be applied toward another class.
Hotel Information
Depending on the training course, one or more night's hotel stay will be included in the course fee. However, you will be responsible for any extra nights spent. No room service or other hotel amenities are covered. The hotel will ask you for a credit card upon check-in to cover charges not covered by AERCO. All hotel reservations, including any extra nights stays, not covered by AERCO, will be arranged by AERCO. Just inform us of the extra days and we will do the rest.

Airports & Flight Reservations
Airports: Newark Liberty International, LaGuardia, JFK
Based in NJ, Newark Liberty International Airport is closest to AERCO and the hotel that attendees will stay at. It will be the least expensive with respect to a limousine/car service transport to and from the airport. New York’s LaGuardia and JFK airports are further from AERCO and more costly when using a limousine or car service. In addition, attendees travelling from LaGuardia or Kennedy airport should anticipate approximately $15 interstate tolls in addition to car rental or car service costs.
Scheduling Return Flights
It is strongly recommended that return flights depart after 5:30 PM on the last day of class. Training runs until 2:30 PM and attendees must allow for travel time, rental car return, and security checks. Certification will not be issued to attendees who depart before 2:30PM on the last day of class.
Travel Time To and From Airports
Whether renting a car or using the limousine service, allow for at least 1 hour travel time for Liberty airport and up 1.5 hours for the New York airports.
Transportation To/From the Airport
Attendees are responsible for arranging transportation between the airport and the hotel and also from AERCO (197-C Firenze Street) back to the airport. If you are not renting a car at the airport, we recommend that you use a car service (not a taxi) for transportation from the airport to the hotel and, on the last day of class, from AERCO back to the airport. The following companies, will pick up and drop off at any of the three major metropolitan airports. When making car service arrangements, be sure to ask about specific pick–up instructions once you arrive at the airport.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is not recommended between the airport and hotel but can be used for travel between the hotel and AERCO or for after class activities. Please inquire at the hotel for taxi service.

Rental Cars
Rental cars may be reserved either at the airport or once you have arrived at the hotel. Enterprise Rental of Nyack, NY has a shuttle service to and from their location in Nyack, NY (provided you are within their coverage area). Remember to allow plenty of extra time for travel and return of the rental car on the last day of class.

Shuttle Service To and From the Hotel
A shuttle service is provided between the hotel and AERCO. The shuttle leaves the hotel for AERCO at 8:00AM each morning of class and then picks-up at AERCO each afternoon (except for the final day of class).

House Rules
AERCO's fees are non-negotiable. AERCO will advise you or your company coordinator of our initial receipt and acceptance of you your registration request, however written confirmation of your reservations will only be provided upon receipt of full payment. Although individuals may speak to an AERCO employee to reserve space, no guarantees can be made to hold that space without approval of your local sales representative and full payment. Please remember that class size is limited, therefore, space cannot be "held" for anyone who is uncertain about attending the seminar. AERCO reserves the right to withhold "factory-certification" from any attendees who do not attend an entire training course.
Extra Course Materials
Additional copies of all course materials are available for an extra fee. Consult your course instructor during class if you wish to purchase additional copies of course materials.
Visiting New York City
You will be staying approximately 30 miles north of New York City. For visitors information about New York City call the NYC Visitors Information Center at 212-484-1222 or visit NY Search website.
While taxis or limousines can be costly, bus transportation to New York is available through the Red and Tan Bus Lines. Bus pick and drop off points are conveniently located within close proximity of the Comfort Inn and AERCO. Call 201-384-2400 for bus schedule information or inquire at the hotel.
