Communications Gateway

AERCO Communications Gateway is a standalone module designed to allow new and installed Benchmark or KC1000 boilers, KC1000 water heaters, Modulex boilers, and the company's full line of steam-to-water and water-to-water heaters to interface to a customer’s BACNET, Johnson N2 or Lonworks*-based Building Automation System (BAS). Although AERCO's products are designed to support direct integration via Modbus open protocol, this new add-on module eliminates the extra work and reduces the expense of translating between Modbus and the protocol of the customer’s installed BAS system.

The gateway is packaged in a UL-recognized plastic enclosure that can be installed on a wall or mounted on a BMK or KC unit using a steel mounting bracket. All three protocols reside in the gateway with the desired protocol selected by the customer using a dipswitch.
