Benchmark 2.0 Standard or Dual Fuel Boiler

Backed by field-proven performance for more than 10 years, gas-fired Benchmark boilers reduce total project and lifecycle costs while delivering energy efficiency, quiet acoustics and lower operating costs.

Ideal for all hydronic heating applications, they are especially suitable for applications utilizing cooler water temperatures such as water source heat pump projects.

The Benchmark boiler can also support natural gas with propane back-up applications to take advantage of discounted "interruptible" gas rates or where dual fuel capability is mandated.

The condensing heat exchanger design is built to withstand thermal shock and eliminates the need for boiler pumping equipment to lower the size, cost, and operating expense of components throughout the entire heating loop. The forced draft, modulating burner operates with 20:1 turndown to deliver up to 98% thermal efficiency while simplifying the venting system.

Each 2 million BTU/hr. stainless steel unit fits through 30" doorways and occupies a footprint of 12 sq. ft. with zero side-wall clearance for easy installation. Removable enclosure panels, and rear access to all piping, simplifies lifetime maintenance. Compatible with popular EMS software, the units can be remotely controlled and provide detailed LCD diagnostics.
PRODUCT OPTIONS
Dual Fuel Gas Train - Allows real-time cutover from primary, natural gas operation to propane back-up by rotating a single control valve. No recalibration is necessary;

IRI Gas Train - Incorporates two safety shut-off valves in a single valve body with normally open vent valve.

Electrical Power - 220V 1-Phase, 230V 3-Phase or 460V 3-Phase

Gas Supply Regulator
  • Non-lock-up regulators for gas pressure < 14" W.C.
  • Lock-up regulators for gas pressures > 14" W.C.
Secondary Low Water Cut-Off (LWCO) - where required by building code. Secondary LWCO must be installed external to boiler.
CONTROLS
AERCO C-More™ Control Package - Standard controller supports constant set point, remote set point and/or outdoor reset schedule for individual boiler operation. Offers step-by-step diagnostic menus and status displays to help users set controls and check faults. More than 40 distinct messages, written in easy-to-understand language, convey subsystem status throughout the start-up sequence and during operation. The flash-upgradeable platform can be remotely monitored, controlled and upgraded via Modbus protocol using the RS-232 or RS-485 connection . The system provides failsafe and independent operation in the event of external building control system failures.

Communications Gateway - optional accessory supports boiler or BMS integration with BACnet, LonWorks and N2 systems.

AERCO BMS - optional multiple unit controller recommended for installations of two or more boilers to maximize operating efficiency.
